I’ve spent over 15 years building and scaling niche health services, including founding a niche clinic that now runs smoothly without me in the day-to-day operations. That experience gives me a CEO-level perspective: seeing the big picture, breaking it into practical steps, and helping you focus on what will have the biggest impact.

I was honoured to be recognized as a BIV Forty Under 40 recipient, but what really drives me is helping healthcare experts bring their vision to life with clarity, confidence, and in a way that’s true to who they are and the unique people they serve.

  • When I look at the healthcare system as a whole, I see solo practitioners and private health practices playing a crucial role in serving the population. With less bureaucracy, more agility, and the freedom to innovate, private practices have the power to build strong teams, design unique services, and spend time in ways that truly reflect their values. This flexibility allows us to deliver the kind of personalized care and attention people deserve.

    Specialty practices take this one step further. By focusing on a specific population or problem, we create a powerful positive feedback loop: the deeper we get to know the people we serve, the better we can design our services, skillsets, environments, and care pathways around their real needs. That clarity attracts more of the right people, which in turn deepens expertise, strengthens outcomes, and raises the standard of care for that group.

    In this way, specialty practices add depth, refinement, and momentum to the healthcare system, especially for populations that are often underserved or misunderstood.

    I also believe that building a business is, in many ways, a mirror of yourself: you can’t hide from it. The process inevitably brings both successes and mistakes, and the real growth comes from reflecting on those experiences. Each challenge offers lessons and principles we carry forward, shaping not only our work but also who we become as leaders.
